Role summary

Our caregiving company is seeking a compassionate Program Manager to ensure adult family homes provide the highest level of care and service. This role reports to the Director and is responsible for administering day-to-day operations and care management. Key responsibilities include managing hired caregivers, evaluating performance, filling schedules, and fostering team development. The Program Manager will also ensure home integrity, manage maintenance, conduct fire drills, and maintain supplies. Additionally, the role involves developing resident-centered care plans, coordinating care, monitoring services, managing medication availability, assisting with personal care, developing activity schedules, and maintaining accurate resident records and monthly reports. On-call support is required.

Our caregiving company, dedicated to providing exceptional care since 2006, is currently seeking compassionate individuals to join our team in the role of Program Manager.

The Program Manager is an individual that ensures the home provides and maintains the highest level of care and service in accordance with the company’s mission, vision and values. This position will directly report to the Director and is responsible for administering day-to-day operations and care management.

Qualifications:

  • Caregiving experience is preferred
  • Office/Administrative experience preferred
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Experience using an electronic scheduling system
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening, personal and soft skills
  • Ability to multitask and re-prioritize
  • Ability to recognize and understand quality service
  • Ability to calmly evaluate escalated staffing situation
  • Ability to appropriately deal with a variety of personalities
  • Willingness to do on-call support after hours
  • Willingness to take a pre-employment background check

Responsibilities:

Manage of hired caregiver. Including but not limited to:

  • Evaluate employee performance.
  • Fill schedules for homes.
  • Be a role model for staff, provide motivation and foster team development.
  • Complete necessary disciplinary action, reeducation and positive feedback.

Ensure the integrity of the homes are up to RCE standards. That all homes are kept clean, tidy and well maintained. Including but not limited to:

  • Fire drills and smoke alarm testing and reporting.
  • Linen and furnishings are up to standards.
  • Accurate number of supplies available weekly including completing weekly grocery lists

Working collaboratively to develop, resident centered care plans (Behavioral Support Plans, Individualized Service Plans and Provision of Care) and provide on-going care coordination, quality assurance and monitoring of services. Including but not limited to:

  • Remain in contact with each resident’s care team.
  • Ensure all prescribed or PRN medication is available in the home.
  • Assist residents in all aspects of personal care.
  • Develop activity schedules to meet all client’s needs for both in home and community activities.
  • Ensure all appropriate records are maintained for each resident according to protocol and all monthly reporting is completed on time and accurately.
