Role summary
Roku is seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in Big Data technologies to join their inventory forecasting team. This hybrid role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable systems for application development and large-scale data processing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect robust data products, working with technologies like Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Trino, Apache Pinot, Spring Boot, and Looker. The position requires optimizing data storage and processing, developing complex queries, and building APIs. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is expected. Programming in Python, Scala, or Java is preferred. Ad-Tech experience is a plus.

About the Team

A highly scalable, highly available, real-time advertising platform is critical to support and grow Roku's rapidly expanding ad business. The mission of inventory forecasting team is to build a world-class service across all advertising verticals, integrating with planning and serving systems to accurately predict advertiser goals and maximize revenue for Roku based on supply and demand.
