Software Engineer Intern, Embedded Systems
Role summary
Roku is seeking interns for its 12-week Graduate Internship program focused on Embedded Systems. Interns will work on scoped, production-grade projects, gaining experience in designing, implementing, testing, and shipping code for Roku's streaming platform. The role involves defining and tracking KPIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging modern technologies including AI. Candidates should be pursuing a Master's degree in a related technical field, have prior internship experience, and possess strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, OOD, and systems design. Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Bash, and experience with Linux-based embedded systems are required. Familiarity with AI tools, ML frameworks, and cloud platforms is preferred. Program details
For California Only - The estimated hourly rate for this position is between $34 - $66 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.
