Role summary

Ross Video is seeking a Manufacturing Master Data Analyst to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and alignment of manufacturing master data across key systems like ERP, PLM, and MES. This role involves auditing item records, troubleshooting data issues, supporting automation for data quality, and maintaining documentation. The analyst will act as a primary resource for item setup, collaborate with cross-functional teams on data logic, and conduct audits to deliver data quality reports. Responsibilities also include participating in ERP testing and UAT. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of ERP experience in manufacturing or supply chain, proficiency in Excel, and experience with data audits. SQL and BI tool familiarity are preferred.

What You’ll Do

*Master Data & Quality Oversight*

  • Ensure manufacturing master data is complete, accurate, and aligned across ERP, PLM, MES, and analytics systems.
  • Audit item records, flag discrepancies, and support automations that detect rule-set violations.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and drive root cause identification.
  • ⁠Build or support automations that detect data and rule-set exceptions.

*Support & Collaboration*

  • Act as the primary resource for item setup questions, rule clarification, and issue escalation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of data logic and setup standards.

*Data Rules & Governance*

  • Maintain documentation on item structures and dependencies.
  • ⁠Drive improvements in how the organization defines, validates, and governs data.
  • Identify gaps or unclear rules and collaborate to refine business logic and governance practices.

*Reporting & Continuous Improvement*

  • Conduct recurring audits and deliver actionable data quality reports.
  • Work with BI/IS to develop automated checks and dashboards.
  • Support resolution of routing, work order, and status discrepancies connected to master data.

*Testing & System Changes*

  • Participate in ERP testing cycles and validate data logic or workflow changes.
  • Contribute to UAT scripts to ensure accurate system functionality.

Required Skills & Experience

*Technical & Functional*

  • 2+ years of ERP experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering (Infor LN a plus).
  • Strong understanding of item masters, routing data, and product-related ERP fields.
  • Familiarity with PLM, MES, or similar systems.
  • Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, filters, pivots) and basic data analysis.
  • Experience conducting data audits or validating against defined rules.
  • Exposure to ERP testing or UAT processes.

*Education*

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Manufacturing Technology, or equivalent experience.

*Preferred (Not Required)*

  • SQL experience for ERP or data warehouse queries.
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
  • Understanding of manufacturing data structures (routings, operations, MES identifiers).
  • Experience with low-code/automation tools (Power Automate, SharePoint Flows).

Salary Information:

The pay range for this role in Canada is: $66,500 - $92,000 CAD

The listed salary reflects the pay range for a role based in Canada. Compensation may differ based on alternate locations if listed. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, knowledge, and role-specific qualifications, and may be adjusted to recognize candidates accordingly.
