We are seeking a technically capable and analytically driven Data Analyst to join our growing Data Analytics team. This role sits at the heart of our data operations and AI-driven transformation strategy — bridging foundational data work with meaningful contributions to our Claude-powered SKILL library. You will build and maintain reports, conduct analyses that support financial and portfolio decisions, and take an active role in developing and refining AI workflows that automate and enhance processes across Round Hill Music. Candidates with hands-on experience working with music industry data — including royalties, streaming, licensing, publishing, or catalog economics — are strongly encouraged to apply and will be given priority consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance Round Hill Music’s centralized data systems by organizing, cleaning, validating, and documenting catalog, royalty, and financial data.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models that support financial, operational, and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency while identifying and resolving quality issues.
  • Lead and contribute to the development of Claude-powered AI SKILLs — reusable AI workflows that automate key business tasks like catalog analysis, royalty reporting, and document generation.
  • Collaborate across departments to design AI-driven process improvements, refine prompts and models, and maintain proper documentation and governance of AI workflows.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration through clear process documentation, maintain transparency around data sources and methodologies, and share analytical and AI knowledge across teams.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis or a closely related role.
  • Solid proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, data manipulation); strong Excel; working experience with BI tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Ability to independently own analytical workstreams with moderate supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large, complex datasets.
  • Good communication skills — able to explain analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated interest in or hands-on experience with AI/LLM tools and workflow automation.

Preferred Experience:

  • Music industry data: royalties, streaming analytics, licensing, or catalog valuation
  • Knowledge of PROs, royalty data flows, and rights structures
  • Hands-on use of LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) and AI workflow design
  • Cloud data tools such as Databricks or Snowflake
  • Data governance, metadata, and quality management
  • Background in entertainment, media, or financial data environment

Position location: New York or Nashville, TN

Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000 annually

Salary is commensurate with experience and geographic location.
