Rumble is seeking an experienced
Infrastructure Engineer (Data Center)
responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of critical data center infrastructure.
As a key member of the Data Center Services Team, you will:

  • Build, configure, and deploy physical and virtual servers for various applications.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and health checks on servers.
  • Develop and run scripts for automation of administrative and configuration management tasks (Ansible, Terraform).
  • Perform OS and security patching and upgrades.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor infrastructure-related tickets and respond within established SLAs.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation, processes, and procedures.
  • Travel to data center locations as required to support operations.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working with and building virtual machine–based solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience building container-based solutions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Linux administration experience (RHEL, Ubuntu, Rocky), including enterprise server administration (hardware and OS).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a high-performing team.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in documentation.
  • Ability to think creatively and propose non-traditional or innovative solutions. And has the capacity to implement in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with security and compliance
  • Experience with Proxmox or similar open-source virtual machine environments and containers.
  • Working knowledge of installation and basic administration of open-source databases.
  • Networking experience (load balancing, firewalls, DNS).
  • Strong awareness of security and compliance best practices.
  • Python and Bash scripting experience.
  • Familiarity with Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity (DR/BC) processes.

Desired Qualifications

  • Linux certification, CompTIA A+, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages.

Annual Compensation Range:

  • $84,000-$106,000 CAD base + benefits + equity
