Job Summary:
The candidate will support the development and delivery of high‑quality, fully compliant proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQs), and marketing materials for pursuits across the firm. The candidate will analyze RFQs and RFPs, coordinate proposal development activities, and produce clear, accurate, and well‑organized submission content that aligns with client requirements, firm standards, and branding guidelines. This role collaborates closely with marketing, technical staff, and leadership to support successful pursuits and ongoing firmwide marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities

  • Proposal Development: Analyze RFQs and RFPs to interpret submission requirements, identify compliance criteria, and guide the development of compliant and competitive responses. Write, edit, and proofread proposal and SOQ content to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with firm standards and client expectations. Establish and manage proposal schedules, milestones, and deadlines, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely completion of all deliverables. Collaborate closely with pursuit teams to produce coordinated, high‑quality submissions that effectively communicate project goals, differentiators, and firm capabilities.
  • Proposal Strategy: Participate in the development of pursuit themes and positioning, and support pursuit leads in identifying key differentiators. Coordinate internal communications related to proposal timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities. Provide pursuit logistics support, including document quality control and submission coordination.
  • Interview Preparation: Assist with interview preparation, including development of PowerPoint presentations, presentation boards, and leave‑behind materials. Support firmwide and cross‑regional pursuits to gain broader exposure to firm practices and capabilities.
  • Proposal Tracking: Create and manage proposal numbers in Deltek VantagePoint to support accurate tracking, reporting, and proposal administration.
  • Marketing Collateral: Create, update, and maintain marketing collateral such as case studies, project lists, resumes, one‑sheets, and SF330 components, ensuring consistency with firm branding and standards. Update firmwide databases with proposal and project data, identify and maintain marketing references, and support firmwide initiatives including internal newsletters that highlight team success and culture and social media. Provide miscellaneous marketing support as needed.
  • Innovation: Foster an environment where new ideas are discussed and developed collaboratively. They will help others overcome resistance to change. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating solutions to customers' problems.
  • Professional Development & Collaboration: Collaborate proactively with marketing staff, technical teams, and leadership across practices. Build familiarity with firm services, clients, industry standards, and delivery methods. Demonstrate a strong willingness to contribute as a team member, learn new skills, accept feedback, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Educational Background & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications, Graphic Design, or Journalism; 1+ years experience; or
  • Associates degree, with 1+ years experience; or
  • 2+ years of relevant A/E/C experience without a degree
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Additional Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills with consistent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Working knowledge of A/E/C industry terminology and project delivery methods
  • Understanding of the firm’s practices, clients, core values, branding, policies, and procedures
  • Strong English writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Candidates with any of the following experience will be given stronger consideration:
  • Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Wix, Deltek VantagePoint, Egnyte, SmartSheet

Compensation & Benefits
The expected base salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
