Senior New Product Introduction Engineer
Role summary
SambaNova Systems is seeking a Senior New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to manage the product realization journey for next-generation AI server systems. This role bridges design, supply chain, and contract manufacturing to ensure reliable, high-volume production. The engineer will interface with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), drive manufacturability (DFx) early in the design cycle, and resolve manufacturing issues. Responsibilities include factory readiness, production execution, test strategy, reliability validation, supply chain optimization, and sustaining engineering. The ideal candidate has a B.S./M.S. in engineering and 7+ years of NPI or hardware development experience, with expertise in DFM, failure analysis, and PLM systems.

About the Role
At SambaNova Systems, getting a product from breakthrough concept to high-volume production is a mission-critical endeavor—and the Senior NPI Engineer is at the center of it. You will own the full product-realization journey: bridging design, supply chain, and contract manufacturing to ensure our next-generation AI server systems are built right, built reliably, and built at scale.
This role is ideal for a hands-on systems thinker who is equally comfortable on the factory floor and in a design review. You will work across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and supply chain teams—driving DFx influence early, solving hard manufacturing problems fast, and building the infrastructure that makes high-quality production repeatable.
