Role summary

Sand Cherry Associates is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead Phase 2 and 3 of a large-scale Salesforce transformation. This role involves consolidating multiple legacy Salesforce instances into a unified platform and decommissioning outdated systems for customer support and sales teams. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of integrating into an active program, providing immediate support to leadership, and driving execution across multiple workstreams. Responsibilities include developing project plans, managing workstreams, stakeholder and vendor management, and supporting Salesforce implementation and optimization. The role requires 5-8+ years of program/project management experience in complex environments, with a strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly Service Cloud and Sales Cloud. Marketing Cloud experience is preferred. This is a hybrid role requiring travel to Houston one week per month, with compensation ranging from $125k-$135k annually.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to support Phase 2 and Phase 3 of a large-scale Salesforce transformation initiative. This role will be instrumental in consolidating multiple legacy Salesforce instances into a single, standardized, and enhanced platform while decommissioning outdated tools, portals, and systems used by customer support and sales teams.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on program leader who can quickly integrate into an active program, provide immediate support to leadership, and drive execution across multiple workstreams. This role will be mostly CST/Houston time zone although could have meetings across all time zones. Must be willing to travel 1 week per month to Houston. All qualified candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. Please note that we do not work C2C.

Responsibilities

Program Execution & Delivery

  • Lead and support Phase 2 and Phase 3 of a Salesforce implementation and consolidation program
  • Oversee migration from multiple legacy Salesforce instances to a unified platform
  • Coordinate decommissioning of legacy portals, tools, and systems

Project & Program Management

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Drive workstream management, execution, and cross-functional alignment
  • Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, and communications
  • Ensure program milestones, risks, and dependencies are actively managed

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Partner closely with program leadership to provide immediate operational and strategic support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including:
  • - Development teams (including external vendor partners)
  • Change management teams
  • Business sponsors and leadership
  • Frontline sales and customer support users
  • Act as a liaison between technical and business teams

Salesforce Implementation Support

  • Support implementation and optimization of Salesforce capabilities
  • Ensure alignment across:
  • - Service Cloud
  • Sales Cloud
  • Marketing Cloud (preferred)

Strategic Planning & Documentation

  • Support strategic planning initiatives and roadmap development
  • Own program documentation including governance materials, reporting, and process documentation
  • Drive best practices in program management and Salesforce delivery

Requirements

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of program/project management experience in complex, enterprise environments
  • Proven experience leading or supporting Salesforce implementations or transformations
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem, particularly, Service Cloud and Sales Cloud
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills with experience delivering executive-level reporting
  • Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, in-flight program
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud preferred
  • Experience working with third-party vendors or consulting partners a plus
  • Background in large-scale system consolidation or digital transformation initiatives preferred
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong problem solver with a proactive mindset
  • Skilled at navigating ambiguity and driving clarity
  • Collaborative, with strong relationship-building capabilities
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels
  • Bachelors degree required

Compensation

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long-term consulting engagement with an estimated base compensation range of $125k-135k. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
