Role summary

Rubbercraft is seeking an Account Program Manager 3 for their Aerospace division in Long Beach, California. This onsite role focuses on the day-to-day management, sustainment, and growth of key accounts by acting as the primary customer point of contact. Responsibilities include managing account scorecards, ensuring quality and on-time delivery, handling order entry and ERP/MRP updates, and building strong customer relationships. The position requires 7+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or account management supporting OEM Aerospace accounts or similar complex manufacturing environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems is essential. Travel up to 10% is expected. This role requires access to ITAR-controlled information.

Rubbercraft is seeking a Customer Account/Program Performance Manager 3 (Aerospace) who is responsible for the day-to-day management, sustainment and growth of key accounts by owning the representation of Key Accounts across Rubbercraft departments. Builds strong relationship with customers based on prompt and active communication, , providing prompt status updates and required information from other departments at Rubbercraft. Owns and manages Key Account Scorecards, partners with departments to achieve 100% quality and 100% on time delivery ratings. This position also includes responsibilities for order entry, ERP/MRP ownership related to change orders and updates to sales orders in the system, as well as general administrative tasks to support account management and operational efficiency.

Working Conditions

  • Onsite at Rubbercraft, Long Beach, California
  • Travel 10% to training locations, customer and supplier locations
  • Standard office environment
  • Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail.
  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to work from written and verbal instructions.
  • Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
  • May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for designated customers at the Rubbercraft manufacturing location
  • Ensures strong customer service and satisfaction by coordinating resources to support quality and on-time delivery performance
  • Owns and manages Key Account Scorecards; maintains customer portals and utilizes EDI systems
  • Provides analysis to ensure backlog alignment with customer requirements
  • Partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to prepare delivery schedules and support customer commitments
  • Supports and helps lead customer meetings, calls, and visits, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and actions are tracked
  • Builds and maintains relationships within customer organizations and related stakeholders
  • Resolves customer issues and provides timely, effective solutions
  • Interfaces with estimating to support RFQs and customer requirements
  • Owns administrative aspects of order management, including order entry, ERP/MRP updates for change orders, and sales order modifications
  • Ensures customer documentation is properly distributed and retained
  • Travels to customer sites as needed
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required

Job Specifications:

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Years Experience: 7+ years of experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, Account Management, or Technical Sales supporting OEM Aerospace accounts (e.g., Boeing, Lockheed, Gulfstream, Northrop, Airbus, Raytheon, Pratt & Whitney) or similar complex manufacturing environments

Skills:

  • Experience creating delivery schedules (LOBs), program updates, and presentations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making
  • Experience working within ERP/MRP systems supporting contract review, order management, and RMA processes
  • Results-oriented with strong customer service focus
  • Strong planning, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and other office tools (including use of formulas and tables)
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification (Program Management Institute)
  • Experience supporting complex aerospace programs or customer accounts
