Role summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with a mandatory requirement for State or Federal government client experience. This role focuses on business intelligence, data modeling, and analytics, requiring at least 5 years of experience in data analysis, modeling (Star/Snowflake schema), interpretation, and stakeholder communication. Advanced SQL and proficiency in BI tools like Power BI or Tableau are essential. The position involves analyzing large datasets, developing dashboards and reports, building data models, and ensuring data quality, all within regulated environments. The role is hybrid/remote, requiring PST hour overlap, and is for a long-term duration of 12+ months.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong experience in business intelligence, data modeling, and analytics. The ideal candidate must have prior State or Federal government client experience and a proven ability to deliver data-driven insights in regulated environments.
Mandatory Qualifications (STRICT – MUST MEET ALL)
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst / BI Analyst / Quantitative Analyst
- (OR 9+ years without a Bachelor’s degree)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
- MUST have prior State or Federal government client experience (Mandatory)
- 5+ years of experience in:
- Data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema)
- Data interpretation and business insights
- Stakeholder communication and reporting
Strong expertise in:
- SQL (advanced queries, joins, optimization)
- BI tools (Power BI / Tableau)
- Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with ETL and modern data technologies (ADF, SSIS, etc.)
- 5+ years experience with Data Warehouse / Data Mart
- 61+ months (~5+ years) of advanced analytics experience
- 3+ years of experience with Cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP)
- Experience in regulated environments (Healthcare, Finance, Government)
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs
- Translate business requirements into data solutions
- Build and maintain data models
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Communicate findings to stakeholders effectively
