Role summary

Scaled Cognition is seeking a Software Engineer, Product to develop and build user experiences and SDKs powered by their novel agentic AI models. This role involves creating tools and infrastructure for AI system deployment and evaluation, collaborating with research and infrastructure teams to translate AI capabilities into reliable products. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-quality products, excited by AI frontiers, thrives in ambiguity, and enjoys cross-disciplinary collaboration. Key qualifications include 3+ years of software engineering experience, proficiency in Python and TypeScript, and experience deploying secure, highly available, scalable customer-facing applications in production, along with familiarity with cloud architectures and modern dev tooling.

As a

  • Develop and build intuitive user experiences and SDKs that are powered by our novel, intelligent models.
  • Develop tools and infrastructure for simulation, evaluation, and deployment of next-generation AI systems.
  • Work closely with research and infrastructure teams to translate cutting-edge model capabilities into delightful, reliable products.
  • Prototype fast, learn continuously, and ship ambitious ideas that redefine what’s possible in intelligent software.

Key Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Python and TypeScript.
  • Experience deploying secure, highly available customer-facing applications.
  • Experience deploying secure, scalable, customer-facing applications in production.
  • Familiarity with cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) and modern dev tooling.
  • (Bonus) Experience with LLM APIs, SDK design, and interactive systems involving intelligent agents.
