Commercial Strategy Intern
Role summary
SeatGeek is seeking a Commercial Strategy Intern to support its innovative ticketing industry team. This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of strategy, sales, and technology, focusing on researching prospects, building sales materials, and communicating SeatGeek's value to iconic organizations in sports and live entertainment. Interns will develop skills in consulting, financial modeling, and sales content creation, contributing to real-world projects. The ideal candidate is a curious, detail-oriented student with strong analytical and presentation skills, interested in sports business and enterprise sales. This hybrid role requires 3 days a week in the NYC office.

SeatGeek’s innovative box office technology has unseated entrenched legacy players to win exclusive primary ticketing partnerships with many of the most iconic teams and venues in the world. The Commercial Strategy team is a major driver of SeatGeek’s success. We work hand-in-hand with Sales to make the switch to SeatGeek a no-brainer for prospects by crafting and communicating bespoke solutions that showcase SeatGeek’s technical differentiators and bottom-line impact.
As a Summer Intern supporting our Commercial Strategy team, you’ll gain hands-on experience at the intersection of strategy, sales, and tech. You’ll work closely with experienced team members to research prospects, build compelling sales materials, and help communicate SeatGeek’s value to some of the most iconic organizations in sports and live entertainment. You’ll develop skills in consulting, workshop facilitation, financial modeling, and sales content creation, while gaining exposure to how enterprise sales processes work in practice. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact, real-world projects — from shaping sales narratives to improving how we scale knowledge and insights across the team. We’re looking for someone who is curious, passionate, comfortable with ambiguity, self-starting, and has a strong sense of ownership and fastidious attention to detail. If you’re interested in sports business, strategy, enterprise sales, and building things that drive real outcomes, this role offers a unique opportunity to grow quickly while making a meaningful contribution.

The compensation for this role is $25/hour USD (based on a 40 hour work week).
