Director of Recruiting
Role summary
SeatGeek is seeking a Director of Recruiting to lead their talent acquisition team. This role will be responsible for setting recruiting strategy, developing a team of tenured recruiters and a recruiting operations senior associate, and ensuring a proactive, data-driven hiring engine aligned with company goals. The Director will partner closely with People leadership and business stakeholders, manage recruiting KPIs, elevate candidate experience, and champion DEI in hiring. This is a hybrid role based in NYC, reporting to the Chief People Officer, and requires 10+ years of recruiting experience, including 4+ years of management, with a strong background in tech and high-growth startups. The ideal candidate is a hands-on people leader with strategic thinking and operational excellence, comfortable with data, and experienced in executive searches and process improvement.

As Director of Recruiting, you’ll lead the team responsible for bringing exceptional talent to SeatGeek across a range of functions. You’ll oversee a group of tenured recruiters and a recruiting operations senior associate, set the strategy and standards for how we hire, and partner closely with People leadership and business stakeholders to ensure our recruiting engine is proactive, data-driven, and aligned to company goals. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on people leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational excellence. You’ll report to our Chief People Officer. This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office.

The salary range for this role is $171,500 - $248,200 USD. This role is equity eligible. In addition, you may receive a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
