Role summary

Securityhunter seeks a Federal Program Manager for Electronic Security Systems in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves managing nationwide federal electronic security programs, leading a diverse team of professionals, and ensuring client satisfaction. Responsibilities include program oversight, budget management, quality control, client engagement, and staying abreast of industry trends. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the electronic security industry, strong leadership and team management skills, and experience managing multi-million dollar federal programs. A Bachelor's degree and local residency to the NOVA/DC/Baltimore region are required. PMP certification is preferred.

Securityhunter is a leading provider of physical and electronic security systems to federal agencies. We are based in Baltimore, Maryland and we are looking to expand our program management team.

Federal Program Manager – Electronic Security Systems

The Federal Program Manager manages and coordinates our nationwide electronic security programs for federal clients. In this role, you will work closely with the COO to ensure the smooth functioning of federal programs, manage a team of service desk professionals, project managers, subcontractors, vendors and technical teams and contribute to the delivery of exceptional customer service to our federal clients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage multiple simultaneous nationwide federal electronic security programs for multiple clients.

· Lead and mentor a team of multiple types of support employees.

· Implement and track quality standards across all assigned programs.

· Engage with key clients, understand their security needs, and assist in addressing any issues or concerns promptly.

· Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements to streamline operations and increase overall service quality.

· Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies related to electronic security systems and services, providing technical guidance and support to the team as needed.

· Generate regular reports on all program performance and trends, supporting data-driven decision-making and improvements.

· Collaborate on the development and management of program budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality. Ensure billing for all programs is completely routinely and accurately.

· Interact with external vendors and partners to procure necessary resources and tools for all assigned programs.

· Work in conjunction with the contracts manager to ensure contract compliance across all assigned programs.

· Assist with related proposals and business development efforts for new business as needed.

Qualifications:

· Ability to pass a federal background investigation (civil and criminal) is required.

· Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., IT, Security Management, Project Management)

· Previous experience in a leadership role within the electronic security industry.

· Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.

· Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.

· Certified System Engineer ICAM and PACS (CSEIP) is preferred.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge of electronic security systems and technologies.

· Experience managing multi-million dollar nationwide federal programs.

· Experience managing multiple subordinate managers.

· Ability to travel as needed (not normally frequently) by federal clients.

· 10 Years of experience in the electronic security industry (CCTV, PACS, IDS, etc.).

· Must be local to the NOVA/DC/Baltimore region.

Starting Salary Range:

$145,000 to $165,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $145,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
