Role summary

SeeDevice Inc. is seeking a Camera Vision Software Engineer to develop software solutions for camera-based applications, focusing on image signal processing (ISP), computer vision, and machine learning. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing computer vision algorithms, developing and maintaining software for camera vision technologies, and enhancing image quality. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct testing and validation, and prepare documentation. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in computer vision, image processing, algorithm development, and software development for camera vision systems are required. Proficiency in Python, C++, C#, or MFC, along with experience in ROS and OpenCV, is essential.

The Camera Vision Software Engineer plays a crucial role in developing software solutions for camera-based applications, with a focus on image signal processing (ISP), computer vision, and machine learning. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in computer vision, algorithm development, and programming skills to create efficient and reliable camera vision systems.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

· 3+ years experience in computer vision, image processing (including AI) , algorithm development, and software development for camera vision systems.

· Experience in developing ToF Camera SDK and applications for both Linux and Window platforms.

· Proficiency in designing and managing Python and ROS (Robot operating system based on Ubunto)

· Proficiency in image processing using OpenCV and 3D graphic software.

· Proficiency with Python, C++, C#, or MFC.

· Proficiency in designing firmware for CortexARM based systems.

· Experience in camera module application is a plus.

· Capable of designing high-speed communication system such as Ethernet or USB 3.0.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and optimize computer vision algorithms for image processing, object recognition and other related tasks.

· Develop and maintain software applications for camera vision technologies.

· Enhance noise and image quality through image post-processing processes.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers and other software developers to integrate camera vision systems and software for real-time performance.

· Conduct testing and validation of camera vision software to ensure accuracy, robustness, and reliability under various conditions.

· Prepare documentation for software designs, algorithms, and source code.
