Position Description:
Join a leading automotive organization as a Data Analyst supporting quality and market insights in Vance, Alabama. In this role, you'll develop and manage robust data pipelines, analyze complex datasets, and create impactful dashboards to drive strategic business decisions. You'll transform raw data into actionable insights through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and visualization, contributing to quality improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage reliable, scalable data pipelines using SQL, ETL/ELT processes
- Analyze data with Python to identify trends, anomalies, and forecast issues
- Develop dashboards and visualizations (Power BI) to monitor KPIs and business performance
- Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Create predictive models and perform statistical analysis to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering to optimize data solutions and support KPI development
- Support continuous system improvements and data accuracy initiatives
- Assist with database integration and new data projects
Required Skills/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Up to 2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or statistics
- Proficiency with Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) and SQL for data pipeline development
- Strong experience with Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure
- Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals and generative AI / LLM tools
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Databricks and large-scale data analytics
