
Director of Product Analytics
Role summary
ServiceTitan seeks a Director of Product Analytics to lead a team of 19, including people managers, to elevate product understanding through insightful reporting and analytics. This role involves developing a GenAI-first analytics strategy, blending AI self-service with strong business partnerships, and influencing the company's product roadmap. Responsibilities include creating KPIs, performing complex ad-hoc analyses, mentoring teammates, and setting technical strategy. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience leading product analytics teams of 15+, expertise in SQL, data warehousing (Snowflake preferred), BI tools, Python, FullStory, and experience with anti-fraud efforts within SaaS. They must demonstrate strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive growth and innovation.
- ServiceTitan is looking for an extraordinary Director of Product Analytics to develop insightful and in depth reporting and take our understanding of our products to the next level. We need to understand what parts of our product are making our customers successful and what parts need more work
- As part of a realistic GenAI-first agenda, we need you to chart an analytics strategy that blends AI-driven self service with excellence in partnering with our business partners and a proactive, forward looking contribution to our product strategy
- Manage a team of 19, including multiple people managers
- As a leader, you will work with C-Suite/VP level stakeholders to set roadmaps for your team and influence the company’s product roadmap and overall strategy
- As a manager/doer, you will be responsible for reviewing key deliverables to ensure quality and doing ad-hoc analyses when they are particularly complex and important
- Creatively answer questions nobody is asking but that help us improve how we run our business
- Create KPIs that measure the health of our product and its impact on our customers
- Assist the sales and marketing teams in creating product impact claims for major deals
- Mentor and grow your teammates to deliver strong deliverables across the business
- Set a technical strategy for your team that uses the latest technologies while appropriately balancing immediate execution with long term vision
- Work with our data engineering team to help create data marts that allow for self service and accelerate our speed to value over time

- Must have experience leading people managers in product analytics functions of at least 15 people for 3+ years
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills that allow you to directly communicate with VP+ product managers/engineering leadership
- Proven track record of growing leaders within their team, giving autonomy to high performing leaders, and maintaining a high bar for performance
- SQL expertise and previous experience with data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- Proven ability to set a strategy to scale data marts in a product that is evolving quickly
- Bachelor degree in a business or quantitative field
- Experience rolling out GenAI-focused analytics tools to enable self service for simple questions
- Demonstrated ability to set a strategy that makes the sum of the team greater than its individual parts; Ability to creatively start new projects; viewed as both indistinguishable and indispensable from the business teams you partner with
- Experience with classic BI tools (Tableau, etc.)
- Comfortable with tight deadlines in a high-growth environment; Ability to prioritize projects based on ROI and timing in the presence of ambiguity
- Experience with FullStory
- Experience in python (data manipulation)
- Experience with anti-fraud efforts within a SaaS product
