Seward County is seeking an Aging Services Program Manager to oversee and expand its Aging Services Program. This role involves managing the program's budget, coordinating activities, and ensuring the provision of outreach, information, and educational programming for older adults across the county. Key responsibilities include data collection, reporting, and reconciliation. The position reports to the Seward County Board of Commissioners and receives guidance from Aging Partners. A high school diploma is the minimum qualification, with desirable experience in human services, gerontology, community health, or aging services, and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Aging Services Program Manager
Seward County is accepting applications for the position of an Aging Services Program Manager!
This position is responsible for budgeting, coordinating, and expanding the goals and activities of the Seward County Aging Services Program. The Program Manager ensures that outreach, information and assistance, and educational programming for older adults in all towns and rural communities within Seward County are being provided. Work also involves data collection, reporting, and reconciliation for all components of the program requirements. This position is supervised by the Seward County Board of Commissioners and receives general guidance from Aging Partners.
DESIRABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a human service related, business, nursing, social services, or related field.
- Experience working in human services, gerontology, community health or aging services is preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
Starting wage: $26.34 or more per hour, depending on experience.
