Position Overview:

Sheer Logistics is seeking a self-starting Data Analyst to join our team and support our transportation operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with our analytics, operations, and leadership teams to drive data insights, improve processes, and support strategic decisions across our brokerage and managed transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large transportation and supply chain datasets to support pricing, performance tracking, and operational improvements.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Tableau, Excel, SQL, and other business intelligence tools.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities and create actionable insights.
• Automate data workflows and improve data accessibility across teams.
• Assist in forecasting, KPI tracking, and reporting for customers and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2years of experience in a data analyst or similar role (internship experience welcome).
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding ofNorth American transportation and/or supply chain operations(brokerage or managed transportation experience is a plus).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve problems with minimal direction.
• Excellent communication skills, especially when working cross-functionally.
• Bonus:Experience with Python,ApacheNiFi, or other data pipeline tools.

Compensation Details:

The qualified individual can expect competitive annual salary and variable bonus.

RANGE: $60,000 to $70,000

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of 3 days in our Chicago office.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

Sedentary inside office work with limited exposure to weather conditions. Limited travel as needed.
