Role summary

The Director of Infrastructure and Project Management, Facilities Engineering, is responsible for managing and executing facilities, construction, and renovation projects within a healthcare setting. This role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, including budget oversight, strategic planning, and staff leadership. A bachelor's or advanced degree in a related field and 7-9 years of progressive experience in hospital/healthcare facilities or a related area are required. Knowledge of building design, construction, and maintenance is essential. Travel to other sites may be necessary.

General Summary:

  • The Director of Infrastructure and Project Management is responsible for the management and execution of projects related to facilities, construction, and renovation.
  • This role collaborates with internal stakeholders (finance, real estate, end users) and external partners (contractors, permitting bodies) to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
  • The director is responsible for budget oversight, on-time and on-budget delivery, strategic planning, and staff leadership.
  • Will require travel to other sites as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Requires bachelor’s or advanced degree in business administration, engineering, public health, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Seven to nine years of progressive experience in hospital/healthcare facilities or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD preferred.
  • Knowledge of building design, construction, and maintenance required.
  • Work requires strong interpersonal skills to direct staff, conduct investigations and problem resolution, and represent Sheppard Pratt to a variety of contractors and agencies.

The pay range for this position is $106,455.86 minimum to $175,419.71 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
