Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to work in the Calibre D2S division. You will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging and supporting advanced OPC and ILT solutions for semiconductor manufacturing with focuses on computational lithography and geometry, high-performance computing and GPU computing.

As the semiconductor industry continues its rapid growth, there is a critical demand for high-fidelity modeling and high-throughput numerical simulations to support the production of stable, high-volume chips at advanced technology nodes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following education and experience:
Education & Background
- PhD (or MS + 5+ years of research/industry experience) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, or Engineering with expertise in:
- Scientific computing: Numerical algorithms and computational geometry.
- High-performance computing: GPU acceleration in CUDA platform, parallel and distributed processing.
- Software and Programming skills: Proficiency in C/C++, CUDA, Python, scripts, and debugger and profiling tools in Linux.
- AI/ML applications: Leveraging AI/ML to accelerate problem solving processes.
- Semiconductor knowledge (preferred but not required): Basic semiconductor manufacturing and lithography processes.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for tackling complex computational challenges.
- Ability to estimate software development tasks accurately and deliver on schedule.
- Open and collaborative team mindset.
This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $135,800 to $217,300 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
