Job Profile/Position Overview
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and data by implementing robust security measures and best practices. Your AWS and Azure experience and expertise will enable you to deploy, and manage security solutions that protect various SaaS offerings.
Responsibilities/Tasks
- Deploy and manage security monitoring tools and services to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud architectures for security applications and services deployed in AWS and Azure.
- Conduct security reviews and assessments of existing cloud infrastructure, identifying potential vulnerabilities, proposing mitigation strategies, and implementing solutions according to DevSecOps methodologies.
- Integrate existing identity and access systems with cloud platforms to establish seamless authentication and authorization processes.
- Enforce cloud security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in application support
- Experience in public cloud computing
- Understanding of cloud security principles, architecture, and best practices.
- Knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, and data protection in cloud environments.
- Experience with cloud-native security tools and services.
- Scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar) a plus
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, etc.) are a plus.
