## What You'll Do
As a Software Engineer III at Sigmatech, you will:
- Build secure, scalable, user?focused applications using modern engineering practices.
- Collaborate daily with designers, product leads, and mission partners to deliver high?value features.
- Champion practices such as DevSecOps, continuous integration, automated testing, and cloud?native delivery.
- Help customers adopt modern software delivery approaches and guide them through technical decision?making.
- Participate in pair programming, code reviews, architecture discussions, and iterative planning.
- Continuously refine your skills and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and improvement.
- Communicate technical decisions clearly while tailoring your message to diverse stakeholders.
- Ensure solutions meet mission, security, and performance requirements while maintaining rapid delivery momentum.
Experience and Skills:
## Required Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience developing in one or more modern languages (e.g., C#, Typescript, Python, Go).
- Experience building and deploying applications using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).
- Strong understanding of testing practices, automated pipelines, and secure coding principles.
- Experience working closely with users, product teams, or customer stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, iterative environment (Agile/Lean methodologies).
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if not already cleared).
## Preferred Qualifications
- Current DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience supporting defense, intelligence, or federal programs.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with pair programming or XP practices.
- Strong problem?solving skills and the ability to mentor mid? and junior?level engineers.

*In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.*
