Role summary

Signature Aviation is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to leverage data analytics for enhancing safety performance and operational efficiency across its global network. This role involves analyzing operational and safety data to identify trends, improve performance, and support data-driven decision-making. The analyst will partner with cross-functional teams to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, dashboards, and predictive models. Responsibilities include data collection, validation, trend analysis, KPI tracking, and providing clear recommendations to leadership. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years in data analytics, and proficiency in tools like SQL, Python, R, and Tableau.

Job Description
As the Data Analyst at Signature Aviation, you will play a key role in using data and analytics to strengthen safety performance, improve operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making across our global aviation services network. This role focuses on analyzing operational and safety data to identify trends, improve performance, and support initiatives that enhance ramp operations, safety outcomes, and operational reliability.
The Data Analyst will partner with Safety, Operations, Technology, and Business Intelligence teams to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, dashboards, and predictive models that support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect, integrate, and validate data from multiple operational and safety systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Analyze safety and operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, ramp operations, and operational performance
  • Partner with operational and safety leaders to translate data insights into actionable improvement initiatives
  • Support development of predictive models and analytics that help anticipate operational risks and safety incidents
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data infrastructure and improve access to operational datasets
  • Develop analytical frameworks that support operational forecasting, performance monitoring, and decision support
  • Provide clear insights and recommendations to leadership based on data analysis and performance trends
  • Work cross-functionally with Safety, Operations, IT, and Compliance teams to align analytics initiatives with operational priorities

Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or operational analytics roles
  • Experience working with operational, safety, or performance data in aviation, logistics, transportation, or similar industries preferred

Additional Knowledge And Skills

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to identify patterns and operational insights from large datasets
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and performance monitoring tools
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into clear insights and recommendations for operational and leadership stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven operational improvements
