Role summary
Seeking two QA Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of experience to perform testing on Windows-based applications. Responsibilities include writing test cases and scenarios, executing SQL queries for database validation, analyzing application logs and code to identify root causes of errors, and contributing to functional improvements. The role requires working knowledge of Agile teams, Jira, and Confluence. Experience with test automation tools is a plus. This is a contract role with a minimum duration of 9 months, offering remote work options.

Work Timings: 8 AM to 3 PM EST
Location: Offsite India/ Remote option available
Minimum Duration: 9 Months with possible extensions.
MUST HAVE SKILLS
5+ years of experience as a QA/QC engineer
Ability to write test cases and test scenarios
Good knowledge of SQL, ability to write and execute queries to validate database operations
Good written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge and experience working with Agile teams
Working knowledge of Jira & Confluence
Knowledge of any automation tool is plus
Responsibilities:
Perform testing of Windows based applications
Understand the functionality of the existing application and write test cases and test scenarios
Parse application logs to analyze and understand the root cause of the issue
Analyze code and/or data to identify causes of errors
Understand the application and contribute to functional improvements based on stated business requirements
Demonstrate excellence in work standards, own up responsibility and should be tenacious in completing tasks
