Senior People Operations Generalist
Role summary
Smartsheet is seeking a Senior People Operations Generalist to support its People Operations team. This role will lead projects focused on HR processes within systems like Workday and Fresh Service, aiming to enhance scalability and employee experience. Responsibilities include managing the employee lifecycle, leading process improvements, serving as a Tier 2 escalation point for HR inquiries, ensuring compliance, and partnering with the People Technology team to optimize Workday. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HR operations experience, 1+ years of project leadership, and strong attention to detail. This is a remote, full-time position.

We're looking for a Senior People Operations Generalist to provide important support for the People Operations team within Smartsheet People & Culture. This role will lead projects related to various HR processes within systems such as Workday, Fresh Service, and Smartsheet. You are a self-starter with a "fix and inform" mindset, a keen eye for process automation, and a history of providing a premium employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a history of enabling People systems that are scalable and drive workforce effectiveness while delivering an engaging, digital-first employee experience. You will be part of the People Operations & Technology team and will report directly to the Director, People Operations.

Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location.
