Software Engineer I (Hybrid, Bangalore)
Role summary
Smartsheet, a global leader in Collaborative Work Management with a $10bn market cap, is expanding its operations to India and seeking Software Engineers with diverse specialisms (front-end, back-end, test automation, ops, infrastructure). This role involves contributing to the full development lifecycle, system architecture discussions, feature implementation, API maintenance and development, quality assurance, and debugging infrastructure issues. The position emphasizes the active use of AI tools for efficiency and exploring AI integration opportunities, with opportunities to work across multiple teams and products. A BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience, along with 1-2 years of experience and proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies, is required. Fluency in English and legal eligibility to work in India are mandatory.
