The Role:

This role sits at the intersection of Shopify, content, and our product ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving a platform that supports editorial content, product drops, and integrated marketing experiences. You’ll also contribute to integrations with our platform, enabling seamless user experiences between the core platform and Shopify-powered commerce.
You should be equally comfortable shipping quickly, solving messy problems, and building for long-term scalability - with a strong eye toward performance, UX, and compliance.
What You’ll Do:

- Lead all development across Shopify + supporting web infrastructure
- Act as the go-to technical owner
Build & optimize the Shopify experience
- Customize themes, templates, and storefront UX
- Improve conversion, merchandising, and product storytelling
- Support merch drops and new product initiatives
Integrate content + commerce
- Create seamless pathways between editorial content and product experiences
- Support landing pages, campaign builds, and content modules
Drive performance & growth
- Improve site speed, SEO structure, and technical performance
- Implement tracking, analytics, and attribution improvements
- Optimize for acquisition and revenue
Ensure compliance & platform stability
- Navigate platform constraints (Shopify, payments, content policies)
- Maintain site reliability and troubleshoot issues quickly
Collaborate cross-functionally
- Work closely with marketing, creative, and growth teams
- Translate business and creative needs into technical solutions
Continuously iterate
- Identify opportunities for improvement proactively
- Bring ideas, not just execution
What You Bring:
- Strong experience with Shopify development (custom themes, Liquid, APIs)
- Solid front-end experience and light backend integrations
- Experience working with or willingness to learn AngularJS and NodeJS
- Experience with content-driven platforms (blogs, editorial, CMS integrations)
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices
- Familiar with analytics tools
- Able to work independently and take true ownership of a product surface
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment
Experience with the following is a bonus:
- Experience with Angular (modern frameworks or AngularJS)
- Experience integrating Shopify with custom web applications
- Experience with subscription products, gated content, or PWA environments
This isn’t a typical Shopify role.
You’ll be building a platform that sits inside a culturally relevant, fast-growing brand, one that blends content, community, and commerce in a way that doesn’t exist anywhere else.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across both Shopify and a live product ecosystem (An AngularJS app), shaping how commerce integrates directly into user experiences.
You’ll have real ownership, real impact, and the ability to shape how this platform evolves.
