Our client is seeking a talented Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines that power analytics, reporting, and real‑time insights. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure high‑quality data across systems, support CI/CD processes, and drive innovation in data architecture and automation.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, validation, and orchestration.
- Support the design of data management processes including staging, preparation, provisioning, and secure data lifecycle practices.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers on developing large‑scale, high‑volume data structures for BI and analytics.
- Design and maintain real‑time data processing systems and streaming pipelines.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across environments.
- Stay ahead of evolving data technologies and help shape future architecture decisions.
- Develop, test, and optimize scalable data solutions using modern programming tools and languages.
- Identify opportunities for automation to improve reliability, efficiency, and data quality.
- Contribute to organizational standards and complete additional duties as needed.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Experience with big data tools, large‑scale data processing, validation, and QA practices.
- Strong skills in data manipulation, data mining, and analytical problem-solving.
- Experience working in production cloud environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, SQL, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
