This role requires deep SAP expertise, strong problem‑solving abilities, and the capability to work independently while also providing mentorship within the development team. The ideal candidate will take the lead on custom development initiatives and ensure high‑quality, stable, and efficient solutions across SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for SAP-focused custom development and integration projects, ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines and business objectives.
- Design, build, and maintain custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms using SAP ABAP and related technologies.
- Support and troubleshoot middleware tools such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and integration adapters.
- Recommend and enable SAP technical features that can enhance system performance and better support business needs.
- Provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Advanced degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
- 7+ years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong understanding of SAP PI/PO architecture and commonly used SAP technical frameworks.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, solve complex problems, and work effectively in fast‑paced environments.
