Our Client is seeking an experienced Product Design Leader to drive human‑centered, business‑focused design solutions across complex digital products and services.

This role blends deep hands‑on design expertise with leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking. You will partner closely with product, technology, and business teams to shape end‑to‑end customer experiences while mentoring designers and advancing the maturity of the overall design practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

Product Design Excellence

• Lead end‑to‑end product design across interaction, visual, and service design disciplines
• Apply appropriate tools, platforms, frameworks, and design systems to deliver high‑quality design artifacts such as journey maps, service blueprints, high‑fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to ensure design solutions are scalable, feasible, and impactful

Leadership & Practice Development

• Lead design initiatives, guiding and delegating work to junior designers
• Build strong partnerships with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
• Mentor team members and contribute to the continuous evolution of the product design practice

Human‑Centered & Inclusive Design

• Balance customer needs with data insights, research findings, technical constraints, and business priorities
• Champion customer‑centered, inclusive, and accessible design solutions
• Apply critical thinking to shape thoughtful and responsible user experiences

Business & Strategy Alignment

• Apply strong product and market understanding to inform design decisions
• Leverage insights into customer behavior, competitive landscape, and market trends to address business challenges
• Help align teams and stakeholders around a shared product vision

Problem Solving & Technical Fluency

• Partner effectively with engineering and data teams to understand technical capabilities and constraints
• Leverage knowledge of emerging technologies to help teams move faster and deliver high‑impact solutions

Collaboration & Influence

• Foster collaboration across lines of business and functional teams
• Incorporate diverse perspectives to bridge information gaps and influence product strategy
• Share best practices and scalable solutions across the organization

Communication & Storytelling

• Present design work clearly and confidently to stakeholders at all levels
• Use design frameworks, data, and research insights to articulate a compelling point of view
• Influence strategic decisions through clear, human‑centered storytelling

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Design role
• 5+ years of experience using design and prototyping tools such as Figma
• Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership, design process, outcomes, and business impact

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Product Design
• 6+ years of experience with Figma or similar tools
• Experience contributing to or evolving an established design system
• Proven collaboration with product, engineering, and business partners
• Experience leading design projects and mentoring designers
• Background designing in regulated or data‑intensive environments
