Our client is looking for an experienced software engineer to play a key role in developing, deploying, and maintaining high‑quality software solutions that support production and manufacturing environments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving engineering practices, and contributing to scalable, high‑performance systems.

What You’ll Do

• Support and enhance software applications used across production and testing operations
• Maintain existing systems while designing and developing new features and improvements
• Contribute to architectural standards and high‑level software design
• Advocate for and implement best practices in software development and long‑term maintenance
• Improve build processes, tooling, and development workflows to boost engineering efficiency

Technical Expertise

Experience with a strong mix of the following:

• Languages & Frameworks: Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus
• ORM / Data: JPA, Hibernate, JDBC
• Frontend: React
• Architecture: Microservices, Event‑Driven Systems (Kafka, NATS, etc.)
• APIs: REST
• Advanced Concepts: GraalVM, Virtual Threads
• Testing: Unit, integration, and mocking frameworks
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes / Docker Swarm
• Tools & Practices: Git, deployment strategies, observability, security
• Data & Intelligence: Analytics, AI fundamentals
• Database management & optimization
• Experience with at least one additional programming language

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in software development or testing, especially with large‑scale server, storage, or networking systems
