Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and technology space, is seeking motivated early‑career professionals to join their Cyber Academy as part of a 24‑month rotational program.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Tracking, reviewing, and interpreting security alerts to spot suspicious activity or potential weaknesses.
- Assisting in the creation and rollout of security protocols and operational guidelines.
- Supporting incident handling efforts, including research, response actions, and documentation.
- Working with well‑known cybersecurity tools to help detect, prevent, and mitigate threats.
- Partnering with IT and development teams to strengthen security measures and encourage secure coding habits.
- Helping facilitate cybersecurity awareness efforts and training programs across the organization.
- Embedding security best practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contributing to automation within CI/CD pipelines.
- Aiding in managing user accounts, access levels, and compliance with Identity and Access Management (IAM) standards.
Who We’re Looking For
- Recent graduates (within the last 12 months) with degrees in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related areas.
- Foundational knowledge of cyber risks, common attack types, and security principles.
- Familiarity with scripting languages—Python, Bash, or JavaScript preferred.
- Industry certifications like CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Detail‑oriented individuals with analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work onsite 2–3 days per week at the designated McKesson location.
