Our client seeks a Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI to drive innovation using techniques like RAG, context engineering, prompt engineering, and LLM fine-tuning. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to build AI-driven products, developing machine learning models end-to-end across a modern tech stack (Python, AWS, Spark), and translating complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Candidates should be proficient in exploring large datasets, understanding deep modeling concepts, and have experience building solutions in production environments. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 2 years of experience or a Master's degree is required, with preferred experience in AWS, Python/R/Scala, SQL, and AI/NLP.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to build AI‑driven products that users love
  • Work across a modern tech stack — Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and more
  • Develop machine learning models end‑to‑end: design, train, evaluate, validate, deploy, and enhance
  • Translate complex AI concepts into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical stakeholders
  • Explore emerging AI techniques and look for innovative ways to apply them

  • You understand modeling deeply—confusion matrices, ROC curves, validation techniques, clustering, classification, NLP, time series, deep learning, and more.
  • Large, messy datasets don’t intimidate you. You know how to explore, combine, and interpret data to unlock insights.

Basic Qualifications

You are currently completing or have completed one of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) + 2 years of data analytics experience,
  • OR
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field, or an MBA with a quantitative focus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in STEM
  • Experience with AWS
  • 2+ years of experience with Python, R, or Scala
  • 2+ years of experience building and evaluating machine learning models
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL
  • Experience in AI, NLP, or information retrieval
