Our client, a leading organization in the consumer goods sector, is seeking a Master Data Specialist to support and strengthen their end‑to‑end Supply Chain operations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, data‑driven environment and enjoys partnering with cross‑functional teams to ensure data accuracy, process excellence, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of material‑related data within SAP, including creation and updates of core objects such as BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, and packaging details.
- Deliver master data tasks in alignment with established SLAs and accuracy targets.
- Review, verify, and reconcile data to ensure alignment with internal governance and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, determine root causes, and drive both corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct recurring data quality evaluations, audits, and reports to maintain data integrity and timeliness.
- Support new product introductions by ensuring all required data elements are prepared for seamless execution.
- Utilize SAP and other analytical tools to identify trends, quality gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for Supply Chain Master Data processes, offering guidance and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with teams across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales Operations, Marketing, IT, Planning, and external partners to address data needs and enhance workflows.
- Participate in or lead initiatives focused on master data design, system enhancements, UAT, and process optimization.
- Develop and maintain documentation, training resources, and work instructions related to master data processes.
- Provide support for GDSN attribute management when required.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold all safety standards and organizational policies.
Total Rewards
- Salary Range: $63,000 – $85,000
- (Compensation is determined by experience, skillset, and additional relevant factors.)

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience with a High School diploma/GED will be considered.
Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in Master Data Administration, Data Analysis, Manufacturing support, Business Process Analytics, or a related area.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms (SAP MM/PP preferred).
- Background in data governance, audit support, and data quality improvement activities.
Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities (PivotTables, XLOOKUPs, or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Experience with Stibo/STEP MDM or Optiva is an added advantage.
