Manager, Asset Reliability (Starship)
Role summary
SpaceX is seeking an experienced Manager, Asset Reliability for its Starship heat tile manufacturing operations at the Cape Canaveral facility. This leadership role involves building and managing a team of engineers and specialists to develop and execute a robust asset maintenance system. The primary goal is to maximize equipment availability and production line effectiveness (OEE) in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Responsibilities include team development, hiring, leading maintenance strategy, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, managing spare parts, and driving asset improvement projects. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience with significant personnel and direct report management in production and manufacturing settings.

MANAGER, ASSET RELIABILITY (STARSHIP)
SpaceX is currently seeking talented and driven individuals with leadership experience in asset and machine reliability for a manager role to own the build-out, direction, and execution of an Asset Reliability team for Starship heat tile manufacturing hardware and production systems at the Cape. This candidate will be operating in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment as part of the team working to deliver a highly capable and rapidly reusable Starship heat shield. The Asset Reliability Manager will develop and manage a team leading a phenomenal team of engineers and specialists in building and operating a robust asset maintenance system to provide maximum equipment availability and production line overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
