Sr. Automation Engineer (Starlink Customer Success)
Role summary
SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Automation Engineer for the Starlink Customer Success team. This role involves developing, maintaining, and improving business-critical and experimental automation to address customer experience and support bottlenecks within the Starlink network. The engineer will collaborate with technical and engineering teams, create reports and monitoring systems, and communicate results to leadership. Responsibilities include building automation for customer growth and experience, managing alerts, owning automation status, and designing experiments. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 4+ years of experience in engineering, software, data analytics, or related fields, with a strong emphasis on Python.

As an Sr. Operations Engineer, Automation on the Customer Success team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving both business-critical and experimental automation to unlock customer experience and support bottlenecks within the Starlink network. You will work closely with technical and engineering teams to make sure requirements are satisfied and the automation is robust. You will create reports, alerts, and monitoring systems to ensure that your automation is working correctly and communicate results to leadership.

Pay Range:
Sr. Operations (Automations) Engineer: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
