Build Specialist (Booster Structures Engineering)
Role summary
SpaceX is seeking a Build Specialist for Booster Structures Engineering to manage schedules, assets, and procedures for Booster integration vehicle checkouts. This role involves physically installing and testing electrical and propulsion systems to ensure reliable flight. Responsibilities include coordinating test equipment, overseeing GSE construction, communicating project status, implementing standard practices, designing tooling, and creating manufacturing documentation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, project management skills, and the ability to organize and communicate effectively across teams. Basic qualifications include a high school diploma and 2+ years of technician experience in mechanical/fluid disciplines, with 1+ year of experience reading engineering drawings.

This team member will be responsible for managing schedules, assets, and procedures, as well as physically installing and testing various electrical and propulsion systems to ensure reliable Booster flight. This individual must have great hands-on experience, good project management skills, and ability to communicate and organize across internal and external partner teams.
