Civil Engineer, Land Development (Starship Launch Pad)
Role summary
The Civil Engineer, Land Development will be responsible for the design, construction, and activation of a new orbital launch pad and associated infrastructure. This role involves site feasibility, conceptual planning, storm water management, grading, drainage, and utility design, as well as obtaining necessary permits. The engineer will manage civil aspects of construction projects, ensuring quality control and resolving conflicts. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 1+ years of experience in civil engineering design, and proficiency in CAD software. Experience with project management and a PE license are preferred. This is an onsite role in Starbase, Texas.

As a member of the launch pad development team, you will work with a group of elite engineers across multiple disciplines to design, build, and activate a second orbital launch pad and ancillary infrastructure that will further enable orbital launch capability for the most powerful rocket in the world, Starship. This position is based in Starbase, Texas (Brownsville/South Padre Island Area).
