CNC Programmer (Starlink) - Level 4/5
Role summary
SpaceX is seeking a CNC Programmer (Level 4/5) for its Starlink program. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of CNC machining and programming operations, with a primary focus on programming. Responsibilities include using NX or MasterCam to program CNC parts, maintaining revision control, optimizing tool life, and suggesting design improvements for manufacturability. The role also involves assisting machinists, ordering tools and materials, and identifying process improvements. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with machinists, leads, engineering, and management to enhance productivity and optimize machining procedures. Occasional machine operation may be required to support production backlogs.

CNC PROGRAMMER (STARLINK) - LEVEL 4/5
The CNC Programmer role here at SpaceX is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of all CNC machining and programming operations. This role is tasked with working in close concert with machinists, leads, engineering teams, and machining operations management to increase productivity and optimize machining programs and procedures. Machine operation, tool and material ordering are all part of this job as well, with a primary focus on programming.

Pay range: CNC Programmer/Level 4: $46.50 - $57.00/hour CNC Programmer/Level 5: $52.00 - $64.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
