Role summary
SpaceX is seeking a Starlink Production Technician specializing in Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTAs) for their Starlink Gateway communications payload. This onsite role in Redmond involves assembling, integrating, and testing high-power microwave amplifiers. Responsibilities include precise mounting of components, high-voltage wiring, RF alignment, functional testing, and troubleshooting within cleanroom environments. The position requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of hand tool experience, and preferred experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing, reading engineering drawings, and cleanroom protocols. The role involves physical demands and requires flexibility with shifts and overtime.

STARLINK PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN - TWTA
A TWTA is a high-power microwave amplifier that uses a Traveling Wave Tube to amplify radio frequency (RF) signals. At SpaceX, TWTAs are used in Starlink Gateways as part of the communications payload. They are valued for their ability to provide high output power and efficiency at high frequencies.

Pay range: Starlink Production Technician/Level 1: $22.00 - $26.50/hour Starlink Production Technician/Level 2: $25.50 - $31.00/hour Starlink Production Technician/Level 3: $29.50 - $37.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Company shuttles are offered to employees for roundtrip travel from select Seattle locations to the SpaceX Redmond office Monday to Friday.
