Propulsion Technician (Raptor Flight) - Level 4/5 (2nd Shift)
Role summary
SpaceX is seeking a Propulsion Technician (Raptor Flight) for their 2nd shift. This role involves assembling, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining flight and development rocket engines, as well as supporting test and build equipment. Responsibilities include working on engines in various stages, interpreting technical documents, preparing test stands, fabricating hardware, and collaborating with engineers on process improvements. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with complex mechanical or fluid systems, 1+ year in engine testing or integration, and 1+ year with electrical test instrumentation. Preferred skills include A&P license, avionics experience, and familiarity with aerospace environments. This is an onsite role requiring physical dexterity, the ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and in extreme outdoor conditions, with overtime and weekend availability.

PROPULSION TECHNICIAN (RAPTOR FLIGHT) - LEVEL 4/5 (2ND SHIFT)
Propulsion Technicians get to assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and perform regular maintenance and work on flight and development engines, as well as support test and build equipment and tooling. Propulsion Technicians support the company by building and maintaining flight worthy rocket engines at the launch and test facility, supporting engineering in suggesting and implementing process improvements, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. These technicians support activities in the engine shop and/or engine assembly area, launch mount, test stands, as well as enjoy working outside at the rocket development facility supporting test operations first-hand. Propulsion Technicians enjoy witnessing the rumbling of rocket engines throughout the day. We work as a highly integrated team, and job responsibilities will include helping other programs and sites to ensure the overall success of SpaceX.
