Sr. Automation Engineer (Starlink Growth)
Role summary
SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Automation Engineer for the Starlink Growth team to develop, maintain, and enhance business-critical and experimental automation. This role focuses on unlocking growth and accelerating Starlink's monetization by working closely with technical and engineering teams. Responsibilities include building robust automation, creating alerts and monitoring systems, managing stakeholder requests, and reporting on automation performance to leadership. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5+ years of experience in engineering, software, data analytics, or related fields, with at least 4 years of Python experience. Preferred skills include SQL, ETL development, and experience in high-growth environments.

As an Operations Engineer, Automation on the Growth Analytics & Automation team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving both business-critical and experimental automation to unlock growth and accelerate the monetization of the Starlink network. You will work closely with technical and engineering teams to make sure requirements are satisfied and the automation is robust. You will create reports, alerts, and monitoring systems to ensure that your automation is working correctly and communicate results to leadership.
