Data Center Specialist (Starlink)
Role summary
SpaceX is seeking a detail-oriented and high-energy Data Center Specialist for its Starlink program. This role involves deploying, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware at Starlink colocation sites globally, requiring approximately 75% travel. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing fiber optic circuits, racking and stacking network hardware, installing and upgrading servers, improving training documentation, coordinating equipment logistics, and executing spare parts strategies. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in hardware or IT equipment troubleshooting within the IT or telecom industry. Preferred skills include fiber optics expertise, network rack construction, and experience with CWDM/DWDM systems.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Company shuttles are offered to employees for roundtrip travel from select Seattle locations to the SpaceX Redmond office Monday to Friday.
