Role summary

Medley Networks Inc. is seeking an on-site 5G System & Test Engineer to join their telecommunications team. This role involves designing, developing, and executing test plans for 5G NR protocols and systems. Responsibilities include analyzing network performance with tools like Wireshark and QXDM, developing Python automation scripts, troubleshooting system-level issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The engineer will work within Linux environments and Docker containers, and monitor TCP/IP and IPv4 network traffic. A strong understanding of 5G NR, Python, network analysis tools, Linux, Docker, and TCP/IP is required.

We are seeking a skilled 5G System & Test Engineer to join our on-site team and contribute to cutting-edge 5G NR projects.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans for 5G NR protocols and systems.
Analyze network performance using tools such as Wireshark and QXDM.
Develop and maintain automation scripts primarily in Python to streamline testing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and support regulatory testing requirements.
Utilize Linux environments and Docker containers for test deployment and management.
Monitor and analyze TCP/IP and IPv4 network traffic to validate system behavior.

Required Qualifications

Strong understanding of 5G NR protocols and wireless communication systems.
Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
Experience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark and QXDM.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems and Docker containerization.
Knowledge of TCP/IP and IPv4 networking concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with 5G system testing in a lab or field environment.
Background in telecommunications compliance and regulatory standards.
