Electronics/ Automation Engineer
Role summary
Seeking a dynamic Electronics/Automation Engineer to design, develop, and test electrical components for a next-generation concrete 3D printer. This role involves shaping automation solutions, ensuring seamless integration, reliability, and efficiency. Responsibilities include prototyping, designing, and testing electrical and electro-mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of servo and motion control systems (including Duet 3D), microprocessor controls, and be proficient in reading schematics, wiring, and using diagnostic tools. Experience with PLC/VFD programming and 3D printing is preferred. This is an onsite, full-time position in a startup environment.

<Responsibilities>
- Design and optimize various electrical systems in order to improve the functioning of the machines being developed
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain electronic systems, components, and software
- Develop effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures
<Skills>
- Knowledge of servo control systems
- Knowledge of motion control systems including Duet 3D
- Technical expertise in reading schematics, installing controls, wiring, and using diagnostic tools
- Experience with microprocessor control systems
- You are logical, analytical, and a creative problem solver

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
