Overview
We're looking for a curious and driven Software Engineer to join our bike computer team. This is a role for someone who thinks carefully about problems, writes code they're proud of, and thrives in a collaborative, highly engaged environment. We care more about how you approach engineering than which specific tools you've used — if you have strong fundamentals and a growth mindset, we'll help you develop the rest. We work in a continuous flow model releasing software on a regular two week cadence. That means you'll spend less time planning and more time doing the work that matters — building, iterating, and delivering.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain features for our bike computer ecosystem, taking work from concept through to production
Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to understand requirements and propose thoughtful technical solutions
Participate in code reviews — giving and receiving feedback with an open mind. Code craftsmanship is a core value of the team.
Contribute to a healthy engineering culture by surfacing problems early, asking good questions, and communicating work-in-progress clearly
Monitor work through our delivery pipeline, helping to identify and resolve bottlenecks that could disrupt the release cadence
Continuously improve your craft and stay current with development and security best practices
Qualifications
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
2+ years professional software development experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Strong interpersonal and team skills
Solid programming fundamentals — you understand how to write clean, maintainable code regardless of the specific language
A strong debugging mindset — you enjoy digging into problems and figuring out why, not just patching what's broken
Comfort working in a continuous delivery environment where work flows incrementally
A collaborative, communicative working style — you share progress, flag risks early, and contribute constructively to the team
Familiarity with Android development (Kotlin); you don't need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable on the platform and eager to deepen that expertise
An openness to working across multiple technologies and stacks — Android, iOS, web, and DevOps — and a curiosity to learn what the work requires
An appetite for feedback and a genuine desire to grow
Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, API, end-to-end UI)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how code moves from commit to production
Some exposure to flow-based or agile delivery frameworks
Comfort with source control tools like Git — branching, merging, and working collaboratively in a shared codebase
Experience with iOS and/or web development
Familiarity with cloud hosted services (AWS, Cloudflare, etc.)
Experience working on an embedded device
The benefits for this position include group health insurances including medical, dental, vision, and ancillary plans. As well as 401k match, life insurance, long term disability, and paid time off. Salary range is $95,000 + 45% based on skills and experience level. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performance.
This role is located in Phoenixville, PA and non-local candidates will be expected to relocate.
