Engineering Manager – Digital Platforms & Mobile Experience

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager who enjoys building modern digital products while leading high-performing engineering teams. This role is ideal for someone who can balance people leadership, technical direction, delivery ownership, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving environment.

You will lead a team working across web, mobile, APIs, and cloud-native platforms, helping deliver scalable customer-facing applications and digital experiences used at enterprise scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team of frontend, backend, API, and mobile engineers.
• Drive delivery of large-scale digital initiatives including full-stack websites, e-commerce platforms, and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Architects, UX teams, and business stakeholders to translate ideas into scalable technical solutions.
• Own engineering execution, sprint outcomes, production stability, system performance, and delivery quality.
• Support production systems handling high transaction volumes and help optimize reliability, scalability, and operational costs.
• Guide architectural discussions around APIs, cloud infrastructure, microservices, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Participate in hiring, technical interviews, team planning, coaching, and performance development.
• Act as an escalation point for critical production and L3 support issues when required.
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on collaboration, ownership, clean design, and continuous improvement.
• Drive best practices around CI/CD, GitOps, observability, automation, and containerized deployments.

What We’re Looking For

- 4+ years of engineering management experience leading technical teams in modern digital environments.
- Strong experience managing
Digital, E-commerce, or Mobile engineering teams.
- Proven track record delivering customer-facing applications end-to-end across web and mobile platforms.
- Hands-on technical background with modern
full-stack technologies and cloud-native architecture.
- Strong expertise in
:
- ReactJS and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- NodeJS, Java, Express, microservices, and RESTful APIs
- API platforms such as Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, or AWS API Gateway
- AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch
- CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps practices
- Experience working with AEM and modern digital content ecosystems is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of scalable distributed systems and production operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with leadership and executive teams.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
