The Role

We’re hiring a Platform Engineer to help build the core infrastructure and systems that will enable us to support hundreds of medium and large-scale enterprises.

This is not a traditional “keep the lights on” infrastructure role. You’ll work directly with the CTO and engineering team to architect scalable, enterprise-grade systems and build the platform foundation that supports the company as it grows.

The problems we’re solving are unusually challenging: designing infrastructure that supports enterprise deployments, self-hosted environments, production reliability, and major increases in scale — all while improving developer velocity across the team.

You’ll help shape both the platform architecture and the engineering systems as the company scales.

What You’ll Work On

• Architect, plan, and execute a self-hostable SKU for enterprise customers
• Design infrastructure that can support significant increases in customer load
• Execute zero-downtime production migrations
• Optimize build times and improve deployment workflows
• Build blue-green production deployment systems
• Partner closely with the CTO to architect scalable enterprise-grade systems
• Lead devops and platform initiatives that accelerate the velocity of the whole team

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of full-time experience in platform or infrastructure-focused engineering roles
• Hands-on experience designing and building foundational infrastructure from zero to one
• Deep understanding of AWS and/or GCP and the tradeoffs across cloud architectures and offerings
• Experience working on high-scale, production-grade systems
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
• Comfort working with or near a stack that includes Typescript, Node, and React
• Strong focus on building reliable, high-quality systems
• Care deeply about developer experience and productivity
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments where systems and processes are still being defined
